All of Pierre & More

Just called Gap Herald Square and they said they have "all of them." Meaning all of the Pierre Hardy shoes. I'm going to the store to check it out and maybe buy. But this is all feeling very anticlimactic. Where's the fanfare, the ads, the Frenchman himself signing shoes? Hmm, and if those gladiator sandals don't say "Pierre Hardy" on them somewhere I'm going to have a major label fit. Because if they're going to be spreading the fabulous shoe designers around to us monetarily-challenged shoppers, please don't withhold names. It's like "here's the cake, but you get no frosting." Give us all of Pierre, not "design editions." Better yet, put a damn picture of the man on the box. I'd like to see the guy I'm so obsessed with; he doesn't seem to get around like Andre Leon.

In other accessory news, I'm sad to report I saw a knockoff Anya Hindmarch "I'm not a plastic bag" bag at Forever 21, sans "I'm not a plastic bag." I'm still laughing. Really, I can shake my head at the pushy Christian rumor thing, because if I heard Pierre was an evangelical Satan worshipper, would it stop me from buying his shoes? Hmm, I'll let you know after I try them on. No, seriously, why not just put "I'm not a knockoff plastic bag" on it? I must be a very bad person, as I continued on to the dressing room and tried on a very cute jacket that I'll post tomorrow. With Satan's shoes.
