Some Old Navy Dresses

Some of the girls, as promised:

They are organized unnatural to natural fibers. That first hot green mess is $34.50, and I couldn't resist. Please remember with most of these that you, the reader, most likely own a waist. I do not, so imagine how cute these girly concoctions would look a little cinched in. We won't discuss my upper arms, but let that back photo be a good reminder to my young friend "Laura" who wants to cover that particular area with tattoos. Ahem, at risk of sounding like your mother, in fifteen years you will SO regret it!

I digress. As stated yesterday, I'm not fond of the wrinkly rayon/acrylic dresses. But those first two were too bright and cheery to pass up. Again, there's that lovely orange, also $34.50. And the cotton dresses? So easy to buy. That grey, with the sexy back? The strapless empire-waist purple? The disco stripes? $24.50 and yes, yes, yes. The green ($29.50) I'm not so yes, but that's only because of my inexplicable aversion to back ties. This dress has the back ties, so I cannot get on board. But these Old Navy colors are dead on, right?

I am SO impressed with taking photos in the dressing room! Some seasons I like ON and then some seasons they have too many words on their clothes. I really like them this yr though and I agree a/b the visual of the store. I always love the store at Christmas too.

You know FH, for someone who believes they have no waist, you managed to amass a sizable number of frocks that most definitely demonstrate there is one! Geeze! I'm generally with you on the "no ties" issue as a rule, but have to admit the back of that dress looks pretty sweet on you. In fact they all look great on you! And at those prices...?! Yowza! TP

thanks, guys, i'm going to have to get the grey, love the simplicity and the sexy back. yes, i know, obnoxious to complain about waist! guess I should qualify by saying I don't usually like things that emphasize the waist! Old Navy, just like its sister Gap, has really, just in time for recession, stepped up to the plate!

hey, also for all you moms out there (lipstick!) I hear from my co-worker that ON is great for kids clothing - sturdy, good selection and not $$. I think we need a kid model!

I love the green one! I actually bought 2 dresses at Old Navy today but I think they are the only 2 that you didn't try on! A silk halter, knee length and a black maxi dress. Great prices and so cute!
