Lucky Jewelry

Discovered this Lucky Brand jewelry while #1 Fan and I were looking for silver hoops. I learned that my mom is the kind of woman who feels naked without earrings. Yet another gene of hers I did not inherit; unfortunately, I also did not inherit her incredibly well-organized or immaculate clean home gene either. Sigh.

So while we're checking out silver hoops (and Mom simultaneously organizes and cleans the earring caddies), I spot these:

In this shot you can see the bracelets, & in this shot you can see the pretty red stones!

I didn't note all the pricing, but it's around $28 and up. This is not expensive jewelry, just fun casual pieces.

I like this Lucky stuff. Especially those peace symbol bracelets and the silver cuffs and the cute charm bracelet. And I'm into the heavy, almost biker look of those long pendant necklaces. Funny thing is, every time I pass through the first floor of Macy's Herald Square, I spot Lucky bags on display and see at least one I like. Hmm, I've never been a fan of their jeans, but that doesn't mean I can't like their accessories! Actually, this makes me want to try on their jeans again.

forever21 has some similar jewelry, not sure about how the quality compares though Xo

recently i've been much more interested in the cadys that hold the jewelry. i need a couple of them to store my stuff but am holding out on the ones i saw at urban. i like the ones in your pictures!

i'm with you on the not inheriting the feeling naked without earrings thing. my mom always has earrings on. or bracelets. or rings. or a necklace. she always has some form of jewelry on. and usually i can care less. but, i've kind of been getting into jewelry recently. i bought some awesome betsey johnson earrings and i've fallen in love. but, i'm pretty picky,

the jewelry you found is amazing! =) i like the peace symbol bracelet too.

I hope your mum's a fan of the clip-on earring (like I am)! There's something so daytime tv about a clip on. I can see why your mum started tiding up the caddy, I hope she gave the shop assistants a spray while she was at it!!!!

These are great. You failed to mention that you have been wearing your mother's silver hoops since junior high. I bet she still has some awesome jewelry - I think you should showcase it!

no, maria, I was traumatized when i lost one of her silver hoops at a high school party i attended when they were out of town one weekend! so in trouble! I'm sure it scarred me for life, thus my total, adult indifference to earrings.

Wow I haven't been into a Lucky store or worn their jeans for about ten years... It might be time to rediscover the brand, as I adore a chunky bangle or hip pendant. Thanks for the info and real life pics!

Well my goodness, aren't we full of interesting little tidbits this evening...?!

We must admit that despite our minimalist leanings, we are every much like Mom and display almost OCD tendencies if we reach up and discover we have left the Palace without earrings. (Please note use of *almost* before the OCD acronym.)

And then we learn of the Mom's earring tragedy in high school. No wonder! But don't you think a cute little pair of Mikimoto button earrings would be grand...? They would be so small they would assist in easing you past the trauma and into the world of earrings again. Honest.

Just a suggestion.

The jewelry is sweet. For me, it's hit or miss with Lucky. I like some of the prints, but I can't wear the jeans.

I'm not a jewellery person per se but I could see this stuff looking amazing if loaded up in abundance!
