Wooly Hair

Guys, do you think Blake Lively's hair stylist uses Redken's #8, the wool-shake cotton infused gel slush? Could it be that this is what "wool-like top coat" looks like?

8 wool shake cotton-infused gel slush

+ teasing comb =

Puppy! He looks wooly too. Thanks to Evil Beet Gossip for the picture. I'm very jealous of that do. It's got that whole "Valley of the Dolls: I Just Got Out of Bed After Four Lost Days" look. I was born in the wrong era.

Again, if you want to buy Redken on 34th Street, visit:

Peter And Company, 45 E. 34th between Park & Madison

Two mentions in one week, I think Peter owes me a blow-out.

My hair will never achieve that texture, no matter what brillo stuff I put in it. But boy, if it could . . . .

My hair totally looks like this after a few days spent at the beach and then finally brushing it! There's also this product from Bumble & Bumble that I use everyday called Surf spray that gives your hair the just-left-the-beach texture and it kind of gives this look but with cleaner hair.
Btw I always see her with that pup, it's unbelievably cute.

yeah, I really want this dog, and i'm not even a small dog person. and i figure once you get your hair like this, you probably don't have to touch it for days.

i wouldn't mind achieving the roll out of bed look. it's always more effort to look effortless. : )

I still can't see what's good about this actress! I watched her on David Letterman and tried my hardest to get into her.

Do I have some kind of disorder??

omg! i was reading this in my gmail reader and didn't see it was a post from you and was like omg someone else is writing about that cotton thing!? haha. this is probably the best example of what i'd imagine that product would do. this is amazing. and blake is just gorgeous as always. even with froufy cotton hair!

Sister: I'm more of a Blair girl, Serena doesn't really do it for me. yes, I got sucked into gossip girl last season.
farren: you make me laugh, i really hope woolly hair is the new thing. tell me when you get the shoes, and send me a picture! hope they fit.

Oh my. Do we know if there's anything living in there?

It reminds me of the Paul Mitchell Freeze & Shine hairspray. In TV we always called it "Spray & Paralyze." It was what we used on live shots or for standups when there was wind. You know, to create helmet hair.

Then there was always that one little strand you missed, so people at home were going "Ewww...look how weird she looks...ew...what happened to her hair? Why isn't it moving?"

We LOVE hair care products, they are so much fun.
