Banana's 30-Off Outerwear

Go to 34th Street this weekend, and get a little of this:

Old Navy's also having a 60% off sale, but it's online only. And look what I found on the Gap website, also online only because it's European Collection:

Sigh, $168. Maybe someone will order it, return it to 34th Street, and then it'll go on sale, and I'll walk in at just the right time to buy it.

Speaking of dreams, I'm already dreaming up some Comme des Garcon H&M strategy for November 13. Anyone know which NYC H&M's will be carrying? Jeffrey and I are trying to decide how early we want to get there. I would only wait in line for Jeffrey. I got spoiled during my partay days, way back when I was friendly with all the doormen. And for sure if I'm standing in line for more than 2 minutes, I'm taking a video camera. I'll start a "Rei" chant and make everyone hold hands and sing. You know, generate a little love and happiness before the frenzy ensues. See the full collection here October 23rd.

Update: I forgot, Le Chateau scarf giveaway winners will be announced tomorrow morning!

Banana Republic, 17 W. 34th between 5th & 6th
Old Navy, 150 W. 34th between Broadway & 7th
H&M - we've got two: Herald Square at 34th & 6th, and 34th & 7th Avenue.

it'll be at both 34th st. h&ms, plus the 5th ave store and the 59th & lex one. yes, i have the locations memorized. unfortch, i only realized recently that i won't be in nyc for the launch; i'll be in hong kong, which means i'll have to fight lots of little asians for my size. i'm scared.

I'm not sure about which NYC H&M's are carrying but after the Stella line I vowed never to do that stampede again...have fun!

uh-oh, now I'm scared! a friend of mine was in dc during stella and got the best jeans and boots and no crowds, NADA. Maybe jeffrey and I need to go on a trip.

I'm still debating on CDG just for the damn coat dress. I don't know if I will even rock it, just to have a piece like that in my closet. But I'm going to the 59th and lex location. I have been successful at that place. I do feel like I'll have to line up earlier than 6am this time, and I'm a little salty about that.

The Banana Republic store in Vancouver has a floor devoted to the BR Monogram collection. Which made me wonder - why doesn't Banana just devote as much time to its entire collection as it does to the BR one? Oh right - because only rich people deserve better design.
