Victoria's Secret: The Designer's Collection

I have strong associations from my storied Victoria's Secret history, like.....first bra shopping, pink, frills, my flat, tom-boy physique, Judy Blume (a teen girl from my era could not shop for bras without thinking of Judy Blume books), fear of cup sizes & looming clerks with measuring tape, joy of padded push-up bras, high-waisted thongs ....and now, thanks to the Designer Collection available at the Herald Square Victoria's Secret, I've got some lovely new memories to add to my VS memory bank:

Ivory Flora Nikrooz, $160, beautiful neckline and pleats.

Elegant beige silk Kumi Kookoon, $258. This one needs to be tried in person. Click on the bodice for detail.

Pleated, ruffled, Flora Nikrooz, $168. Adorable.

This silk Kumi Kookoon is more grey ($298). Click for gorgeous gathering and beading at the bodice.

The most fun and sexy of them all, I want to wear this tiered fringe with jeans. Flora Nikrooz, $158.

Sweet, romantic, and still somehow sexy, don't you think? These have the look of treasures from a grandmother's hope chest.

Sure, I took Judy Blume bra shopping with me."Are you there breasts? it's me desperate for a bra." My first bra was bought at I.magnin's and my mother and a burly woman of Russian descent manhandled me as she determined what kind of brazier I needed.

Love your VS recollections and new memories!

Gorgeous picks. Are all Victoria's Secret stores selling this line or just certain ones?

Those ARE pretty.

You know, I never set foot in VS because they don't stock bras in my (very small) size.

Oh Judy Blume...now there's a reference that takes me back!

I esp. love the pleated, ruffled, and gathered camis by Flora Nikrooz and Kumi Kookoon.

i like it when VS shows some other designers - there's so much out there in the world of designer lingerie and no one knows about it!

Wowsa, these are gorgeous! So Vintagey. I have a gift card to VS but I haven't been able to find anything to buy, I'll have to hit the Herald Square store.
