Comfort Camouflage

For some strange reason, when I visited Old Navy on 34th Street last week, all I grabbed were cozy neutrals. I couldn't get enough beige and more-bland-than beige. Was it was the cold weather, or the anticipation of a holiday at mom's, where all I want to do is put on enormous fluffy sweatsuit things, blend into the background and read? Problem with that is all the ensuing, scary holiday photos. The following may help solve my Christmas Day photo woes:

This almost matches my skin and I still love it. And no to sallow yellow stripes for me.

Love the light pink cashmere wrap, now $47.70, and the beige striped turtleneck? Perfect for holiday couch napping.

I'll wear it all if you give me something blue on top. And I can never pass on these sporty vests, just don't, like me, forget to wear something underneath.

I won't even tell you Old Navy is having a sale. I think we all understand Old Navy, like everyone else, is discounting these days. Makes me wonder how much this will all be on December 26th? And the sister store, Gap, is having a hat/glove/scarf sale, all $10 a piece today and tomorrow. Don't forget these.

For more sale information on 34th Street, go here. I update weekly, sometimes bi-weekly, but please don't expect perfection. I rarely strive for perfection in a normal month, let alone December.

Old Navy, 150 W. 34th between Broadway & 7th Avenue
Gap, 60 W. 34th Street between 5th & 6th Avenues

Love the cashmere wrap. And lady, we all understand the busy. If your boss gets uppity, just send him/her to me.

Miss Fashion:

#1) You do NOT suck. Stop it, or I may be forced to come and administer A Prozac Latte. It won't be pretty.

#2) The clothes look uber-snuggly, and as you know, we are all about the snuggle factor!

#3) You are far too cool a human unit to be stressed out over blogging. We care about *you* more than the blog.

Sending you a hug,
TP

TP - nothing like a great princess comment to keep me going through December. Prozac lattes sound delicious, get chef a-mixing!
