Grrrowl

Joy! Found a comfortable and humorous solution to my maternity underpinning problems at JCPenney in Manhattan Mall yesterday:

Yes, leopard hipsters. Big leopard hipsters. JCP has nursing bras in store at the mall, but no underwear, so I wandered through the regular pantie department and spotted these Warner's "No Wedgies. No Worries" that "Won't Ride Up." I was game to put them through the ultimate challenge (really big maternity) and they behaved beautifully. They are also very comfortable, stretchy, and really haven't ridden up.

I went up a size and bought several as they're 30% off at JCPenney, which = $6.65 each. Worth every penny for the awed and sort-of horrified look on my husband's face when I did my best metal-vixen imitation at home. Think Tawny Kitaen on a Jaguar*, but not so flexible and much slower-moving. If you attempt this pregnant, follow the advice given to me by wise and gorgeous blogger Sister Wolf: get a black lace nursing bra. It'll go great with the leopard hipsters and is perfect for metal video re-enactment.

*Unfortunately, Geffen won't allow me to embed the Whitesnake video, but please click and note the classic metal-video move: coordinated hair-flipping from the 3 keyboard players (who needs 3 keyboard players?).

Hahaha... that's awesome! You will totally rock those leopard hipsters! And I would totally wear those -- but, I've already got an insane addiction to these lacy Old navy underwear. They don't ride up at all and they're soo comfortable! Maybe you could check them out? They'd probably be perfect for you!

Do you "rock" them with a black nursing bra??

Don't forget to choose your winner in the baby name contest. xoxo

Ahhh, you crack me up. Never have I learned so much about a pregnant friend's undergarments.
