T's and Button Downs At 34th Street's AE Outfitters

Today's guest staff post features Vita checking out American Eagle Outfitters on 34th Street. Thanks, Vita!

I haven’t been to American Eagle Outfitters since probably 1999, when I was in the ninth grade. I was happily surprised at the spring selection of denim shorts, tee shirts and floral dresses.

My body isn’t ready for the beach, though, so I passed by the short shorts and the dresses. Instead, I fell in love with a tee-shirt:

I love the glitter. Okay, so maybe I’m still a 15-year-old girl at heart, without the understanding that the glittery things will fall off in the first wash, but look at the detail! So pretty. ($29.50)

I saw the soft denim button-down on the mannequin so I had to try it.

I liked the button-down in coral and orange plaid, too ($39.50), but the denim felt like the perfect snuggly boyfriend style.

Also, pulling it over a bathing suit with these flip flops ($29.50) and the hat ($19.50)… day-dreaming about a day about the beach already! 45 degrees Fahrenheit, it’s warm enough, right?

Love AE even though I'm too old to shop there. I too am a teen at heart. Plus they are one of the few stores that has sweat/lounge/yoga pants that fit me and don't have the sky-high mom rise.

loved the t-shirt too!! Well living in Italy is not easy to find AE stuff here, but always loved the AE style, though I'm also a 40-aged but 20-feeling woman!!!!
