Inside WHO.A.U on 34th Street

WHO.A.U is set to open on 34th Street this Friday, May 14th, at noon. And yes, there are line incentives: the first 100 people will receive a $30 gift card. And all shoppers visiting the store on Friday from noon - 2pm can enter to win a grand prize sponsored by Z100, which includes 4 tickets to a big concert, a dinner gift certificate, and a $300 WHO.A.U shopping spree.

The store looks great. Craig and I visited this morning and took a few pictures. For those not familiar with WHO.A.U, it's a Korean company inspired by the old school "Go West young man [and young woman]" California dream. But nowadays, instead of digging for gold, you young people are looking for the perfect clothes. Craig summed up what we saw quite well: in the Abercrombie and Hollister vein (prices are similar to the latter) but with more style. He was impressed with the denim, asymmetrical-zip jacket, and the polo dress with the ruffle bottom.

And WHO.A.U has something special in their new store:

Personalize your polo in their patch shop. Pick from a variety of patches (priced from $2 - $15), get as many as you want, and put them where you will. Turnover time is about 4 hours, so hit up WHO.A.U first during your 34th Street soujourns.

Some examples:

WHO.A.U gifted us with these limited-edition 34th Street T's. Of course, I love.

I'm impressed with that jacket, too. I know the biker look is everywhere but I haven't really been won over by it--until now.
