34th Street Weekend Sale Pick: The New Gap Herald Square

The renovations are done, the store is open, and the registers will be ringing, because the new Gap Herald Square looks great and is easy to shop.

The woman's section is now on the main floor, with registers against the wall on the Broadway side. The dressing rooms are ample and decorated with vintage Gap photos and ads.

GapKids, BabyGap, Maternity, and Mens are all on the lower level, which is as big as ever but sectioned off into smaller and more shopable boutique-like areas.

Outside the store, at the boulevards by Herald and Greeley Square Parks, you'll also find Gap on the umbrellas, tables, and chairs, and on the free wifi available at the parks. Yes, Gap has sponsored not just the plazas for the Herald Square re-opening, but also the wifi!

Also, today and tomorrow, from noon - 4pm, Gap will be out at the tips of Herald and Greeley, handing out totes and 20% off coupons. I would use mine on the below:

Clu and LP Linea Pelle at Gap Herald Square.

All the tops are from the Gap + Clu collection, except the plaid jacket. The jean leggings, that fit perfectly, are 1969. All 1969 jeans are on sale this weekend in-store: buy one get one for 50% off.

(Disclosure: I work for the company that worked on the Herald & Greeley sponsorship with Gap)
