A new Angel, appearing at Herald Square today to promote their new fragrance "Very Sexy Dare." Personally, I'm not familiar with the current pod of Angels. I know Ms. Klum is still prancing around for VS and looking pretty amazing. I wonder which Angel has had the longest tenure?

If you are a big Angel fan, go to Victoria's Secret Herald Square today between noon & 2 and meet Marissa. If I didn't have a meeting I'd be there taking photos. Do Angels wear their wings at personal appearances?

The newest Angel, Marissa Miller at the Herald Square Victoria's Secret, signing perfume for the boys. I had no idea guys actually go to these things! The invite says autograph with fragrance purchase, so are they collectors? Buying fragrance for their girls? "Honey, look what I stood in line and bought today, just for you!"

And looks like Marissa left her wings at home today. Good choice, as she looks adorable in that purple dress. The bottom tier is sheer, and the nude shoes are a classy, gorgeous choice. Click on them to spot the red sole.

Angels of Herald Square

It's no Costume Institute exhibit at the Met, but Angels have archives, too. On display at Victoria's Secret Herald Square flagship store:











Angel wings, runway costumes, and the Angel's star from the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Oh, my. Worth the trip alone is the get-up Tyra wore in her last appearance as a Victoria's Secret Angel (left). I have new-found appreciation for Ms. Banks' fierceness after seeing it up close. That's a lot of wing to work.

And is that an Angel airplane behind Heidi Klum? Don't you wish they'd done a reality show, like "Angels en Route: See Them Fly." Do they carry-on their wings? Drink from little airline bottles? Get the kosher meal? And do they fight for position as soon as the plane lands so they're the first one out? You know, important things I really want to know...
