I Heart Ronson in Stripes

I can't tell you how many times in the past year I've passed a cute striped top and said to myself "NO, move on." I own a lot of stripe tops, so I put a moratorium on stripes. Then I saw this I ♥ Ronson crop top at Manhattan Mall last week.

I know, it's perfect. I really do heart I ♥ Ronson.

Also, there's a black-and-white faux leather skirt if you want to go nuts. Black-and-white is everything this season, in case you hadn't heard.

Then you're going to have to walk down to JCPenney's shoe department and pick up a pair of Call It Spring's d'orsay flats. I would totally do the yellow with black-and-white!

Be sure to stop by JCPenney Manhattan Mall this weekend for their Super Saturday Sale. Every department has something discounted, from beach towels to winter boots to prom dresses. And if you time it right, you can take advantage of their doorbusters: Friday doorbusters are 3pm-close, and Saturday from 10am-1pm.

The in-store home boutiques at jcpenney Manhattan Mall have opened, and they make shopping for home goods a joy. The entire home department on lower level 2 has been revamped, so not only are the designer boutiques eye-catching, but the regular departments are beautifully merchandised, too. See the Everyday department below.

The Happy Chic by Jonathan Adler is overflowing with cuteness.

This line is eye-catching and full of things that you have to have, although you had no idea they existed before you saw them, like little chef menu holders and food-specific cutting boards arranged like index files in a metal container.

JCPenney Manhattan Mall: Now the Dresses

We all know JCPenney is going through a tough transition. But when I shopped there the other week, I was the most excited I think I've ever been about the offerings on the floor. Yesterday it was shorts. Today, it's the dresses.

I also need to give the L'Amour by Nanette Lepore junior line a big call-out. This is so cute this season, a big improvement, I thought, from last season and a must-see for girls of all ages because WHO can resist this dress for summer?!
