Stop by this weekend at Herald Square, which RackedNY recommends shopping, check out stock, then return Monday if you think it's worth the hype. And trust me, it's worth the hype. Sales are everywhere on 34th Street this weekend! From Macy's, to H&M, to JCPenney, you've got a lot of options. Below are a few suggestions, but pretty much you can spit from Herald Square and hit a great sale.

H&M Herald Square Flagship: Coming this Summer

Update #3: Today in Racked, H&M confirms that they are keeping all stores on 34th Street open. I wonder how many other cities have three of the same store in a one-block radius? None, right?!

Update to the update: the store is opening May 20 at noon with a performance by John Legend! This is big. This means Chrissy Teigen might be hanging out at H&M Herald Square.

Update: the new H&M Herald Square flagship, the largest H&M to date at 63,000-square-feet on four floors, will open soon. As in, "Coming Summer 2015."

WWD reported last month that the new flagship store in Herald Center would open "next month," but as the new sign above says "Summer 2015" let's just pencil in "maybe late May." No word yet on what is coming in to the H&M across the street at 1378 Broadway, but stay tuned. I'm going to miss that store, namely for nostalgia's sake as its maternity section got me through many big belly months with their leggings, drop-crotch pants, and dresses.

Shopping Regrets: I've Got More Than a Few

When scanning July photos today, I spotted this green perfection from H&M Herald Square.

Upon viewing I immediately thought WHY THE HELL DIDN'T I BUY THIS? Shopping regrets, I've got so many piled up from years of shopping 34th Street.

Modified peplum, bronze shiny skirt, I should be wearing you right now. Oh, well, I'm sure if I walked into the Herald Square H&M this evening I'd find plenty more clothing to regret! Or just buy, dammit.

David Beckham Bodywear: New H&M Ads

If you like your guys scruffy, you're going to love the new David Beckham for H&M ads. He's perfected the "just rolled out of bed" style and his hair looks a lot more brunette than blonde. Which means he's right up my alley: scruffy brunettes are my thing.

 The scruffy brunette I buy underwear for is not a fan of snug briefs or boxers, but loves the Beckham longer shorts and long underwear options, so we'll be shopping a lot of this new collection. It launches online and in stores on August 21, 2014, and includes new patterns such as classic blue check.

H&M Herald Square: Shorts, Minimalism, and Fruit

If I haven't been to H&M Herald Square in a while, I suss out the ground floor to find where they've moved their trend section, or the place where I find: 

Perfect minimal looks;

Great orange maxis and orange slice tops (or grapefruit slice tops, whatever you're craving);

And excellent shorts.

This is the section I often have to walk by with eyes shut, or I'll end up dropping $100 on a couple things too perfect to resist. This is also the section I always go to when I need an event outfit. Currently it's immediately on your right as you enter the Herald Square store, but its location changes often, so it might be further back in the store on the left (clever tactic...). You'll know you're there when you suddenly find yourself with an armload of clothes, praying there's no dressing room line. Just try to shop before noon and after 2pm!

You've all heard the Alexander Wang x H&M news, right? Well, as the collection isn't due to hit stores until November 6th, let's look at some of H&M's new spring shoes that you can find in stores today.

Definitely one of the strongest spring shoe collections I've seen from H&M. Prices are, from top to bottom: $59.95, $99, $29.95, $59.95, $79.95, and $24.95. This is just a small sampling from an adorable spring shoe collection, so be sure to stop by H&M soon and check them all out.
