You're Worth Billions of Dollars!

Your company's gone public, you just got married, your billions increased (for a while), and the fashionable powers-that-be are still bitching about your hoodie.

Would you care if you were worth that much? Me, I'd be laughing all the way to the hoodie bank. Although for real if I could wield that many dollars I'd have Nicolas Ghesquière on my speed dial and it would be the Balenciaga/Chalayan/Demeulemeester bank.

While Fashionista and most likely others have gone the designer route with a Zuckerberg hoodie-free makeover, I'd go with the "he doesn't care" thing and assume his new bride will force him into suits on occasion while he stays in hoodies and T's at all other times.

Tallia Orange at Macy's Herald Square

When I read about Tallia Orange and its playful suit linings with unique patterns for each style, I had to drop by Macy's Herald Square and check it out. Tallia is in a new home at Macy's on the second floor in designer sportswear (it used to be in the suit section).

Note Tallia's signature orange lining on each collar, visible when turned up. The ties are pictured below not just because I find them adorable, but also to emphasize the mix-n-match fun you can have with this line. And the pricing is impressively low for the quality. Tallia is a brand of Peerless International, a big player in manufacturing, so they've got the resources to bring its customer a quality line for great prices.

I want to call it all "preppy with a twist." How sick are you of reading "preppy with a twist?" Let's ask The Princess herself!

Triple Take

H&M is a great standby, especially in the winter when cold weather staples can get prohibitively expensive elsewhere. I found a few great finds for men last night.

Cowl neck is all the rage, and a long cardigan is always a must for the winter. Chic over a work outfit or with a v-neck tshirt and jeans for brunch, this will prove to be a versatile, comfortable, and elegant addition to any man’s wardrobe. 49.90

Double breasted is back (again), and this wool jacket is a good example of how the look can be streamlined into a short, wool jacket. Again, I like this jacket because it works as well during the week as it does on the weekend. The fit is exemplary, and the short length works well for height-challenged men like myself. 69.90

Last, I found this beautiful little plaid shirt. This really reminded me of a shirt I would steal from my old roommate. His was Built by Wendy and cost at least 5 times as much, and while the fabric quality is nowhere near that of its more expensive kin, this does a good job of getting the same style for a casual dinner. 29.90
