I love leftovers. Nothing's more comforting than knowing I've got last night's dinner awaiting me in my fridge. Today, some last week leftovers in my pics folders:
No one in my family should be allowed to wear yellow. Thus my obsession with puffy yellow vests. I really want one. This is from Gap, $64, but currently vests and other selected outerwear are 30% off, so it's now $44.50;
Everyone should have a striped "Sting" sweater and I think this one qualifies (H&M, $34.90, black skirt $39.90). If you can find me a photo or the video where Sting, from early Police days, is wearing that yellow and black striped sweater, I'll give you a $25 'wichcraft gift certificate. Email me or leave on comments. If you're not midtown local and you're not addicted to 'wichcraft peanut butter sandwich cookies (me!), I'll get a $25 cert at Sephora or your 34th Street store of choice. Because last week I spent at least an hour looking for Sting in that sweater to a very frustrating no avail;
A little lace: Calvin Klein push up bra ($16.99), red Natori boy shorts ($9.99) and nude patterned stockings ($6.99) from Daffy's, 5th flr. All shot on my ironing board which is mainly used as an early morning coffee cup holder;
One of my favorite Muppets, because pretty much all drummers I'm acquainted with have Animal-like qualities. Find it on the 4th floor straight off the escalator at Macy's Herald Square;
Speaking of drummers and Police videos, click here for my first and best rock crush. Can't embed, grr, but at the end Stewart kicks Sting in the butt! Probably because he was flipping his hair too much. Me-n-Stewart Copeland forever, sigh!
*Update: oh, and Sting doesn't really flip his hair, that's more of a metal narcissist thing. But he does stare broodingly into the camera.

Hi there-the striped jumper is just gorgeous!
Great finds. The back story of your love for Stewart is adorable. Thanks for sharing, Mrs. Stewart Copeland.;-)
Mrs. Stewart Copeland says you're welcome, la belette! and sharon, that striped jumper totally has your name on it.
love the colorful striped!!!
Rarh. Don't suppose those pb sandwich cookies mail well?
Love those Calvin Klein push up bras. I wear one nearly every day of my life to keep the boobs high.
Off to look for the Sting pic!
Go, Pru! wish i had some boobs to keep high, although i did try the bra on and it pushed up what I've got quite impressively.
Oh I love the yellow puffa!
Why can't you wear yellow????
And the striped sweater is soooooo nice.
xoxo
seeker - matches our teeth/skin!
I LOVE your shopping addiction! haha <3
Love the bright yellow vest, bring some sunshine to a gloomy winter!
What intriguing finds you share today Ms. Fashion, the striped sweater with the skirt is really cute!
However we were all about the drumming animals (so to speak) and completely enthralled to learn of your first crush! (IWe feel as if we have been given insider info, sort of like the secret handshake one learns to join the Tree House Club. Or something.)
Happy rest of your week!

oh wow! i love the idea of nude patterned tights!
I loved Copeland MUCH better than Stinge (sic) too.
I married a drummer who has hair just like Animal's.
I have some of Sting's wife's old clothes, does that count?
jillian - umm, wish I could buy everything I shoot!
jen - i thought the same thing when I saw it in store.
princess - take notes, we'll have a quiz! but i'll need a little quid pro quo incentive.
copper - me too, I've been keeping an eye out ever since I ripped my nude fishnets.
enc - I KNEW you'd be a Stewart over Sting woman!
wendy - yes, if someone doesn't get the sting sweater photo by friday, the gift card is all yours!
I think the yellow vest is really awesome.
I love yellow and the brighter the better - this vest is brilliant!
