Daffy's has some Frye boots in the men's department in Herald Square on the 7th floor. The motorcycle style on the far left is a classic, wish they had them for the ladies, too.
Gap at Herald Square has a small selection of the "Design Edition" shoes, "specially designed." I really don't think these are Pierre Hardy, but someone dish, please, if you have inside info. The tall boot ($178) is not impressive; the color live is blah. But the heeled desert boot ($138) was adorable (want!) and squishy comfortable on. The black boot is a good investment as it's much more interesting looking in person and is a great, timeless basic ($148).

The black Gap boot is such a great everyday shoe.
I agree with WendyB.

They all look very functional to me.
I haven't done a Frye boot since back in the 9th grade. I just found a great Frye black riding boot that has made it to my longing list.
What's not to love about a heeled desert boot.
I reallllly need a new pair of boots! Those motorcycle ones are hot.
Yum yum yum. I thnk I'll stick to my Gap boys shoes though... they're cheaper! :)
