Tricia Lewis, our Fashion Herald blogger, is out on maternity leave. Following is a post from her co-worker Catherine who is kindly filling is as guest blogger.
Since JCPenney moved into the neighborhood over the summer, we've become close friends. Whenever I stop by, I head to the a.n.a section for reasonably priced work tops. I found a v-neck in a beautiful shade of turquoise with slightly flared sleeves and a simple black top with nice shoulder beading, both on sale for $19.99.

Tops for Work & Play (and a Rockin' Vest)
Of course, I can't visit my good friend JCPenney without checking out the trendy boutique-like areas. I stepped over to I Heart Ronson and found a silver sequined tank dress (on sale for $24.99) that was begging to be worn with tights and boots or pumps. There was a nice thin black layering top by SheSaid (on sale for $21.99). I really like the concept of this side zip piece, but I couldn't get it to look right on me.
And then...I walked around the corner and fell in love with this faux leather vest by Allen B. It's pretty heavy and I actually thought it was real leather until I read the tag. The shopping gods must have been with me, because it was on sale (50% off) for $48.99. Merry Christmas to me!
