Vince Camuto Now Open on 34th Street, Zara Re-Opening Soon

The Vince Camuto boutique opened late last Thursday afternoon, and I was happy to be walking into the store just ten minutes after it rolled out the stanchions and balloons.

It's as pretty inside as it is on the outside. At Vince Camuto on 34th you'll find shoes, handbags, accessories, and clothing. 

Across the street, Zara is still prepping for its November re-opening. Rumors say the store should be back in business by Black Friday, or a few days after. 

I'm sure the security guard next door will be happy I'll no longer be pumping him for Zara intel every two weeks.

I got the mirror ball leggings and I'm hoping I'm going to find the blue sweater and oversized coat on sale one day, especially as there were a lot of coats left. Ever wonder "What's up with that massive old Borders space at 2 Penn Plaza?" Well, this weekend you can stop all that wondering, because One Direction is filling up the old Borders with, well, One Direction stuff.

Margiela x H&M on 34th Street

Yes, that's a scarf and the world's best red kicks. Yes, both 34th Street H&Ms will have the Margiela x H&M collection tomorrow morning. Yes, there will be a line, and yes, they will be handing out bracelets. I'd get there before 6am if you want a decent shot at your picks. If you want the red dress, get there at 4am. Dress warm and bring a thermos of coffee, as it's going to be chilly out there.

I LUST.

Be prepared: You're only going to have 15 minutes to shop with your bracelet, so do your homework. Are you going straight to the shoes, the dresses, or the oversized coats? It's all about the strategy. Good luck, and see you in line.

Looking Good, Famous Footwear

The above is not exactly a thought that runs through my head often when I'm strolling down the Wild West End of 34th Street (I'm adding "Wild" to my "West End" because that just makes it even more sexy). But a few weeks ago I was struck with their new, pretty outdoor signage...

...which lured me into the store that can now boast a much livelier, attractive layout. Also, the shoe selection was tempting me more than usual...

Multiple-bling baby Skechers and baby Hello Kitty Vans. Done

So, all in all, Hell Yeah Famous Footwear, looking good.
