This post has nothing to do with Tony the Tiger, but that sentiment exactly describes how I feel about Little Miss Matched at Macy's Herald Square. Here it is in kids, a collection based upon children dressing completely mismatched:
Adorable, right? Socks, stockings, etc. that come mismatched! And from WWD (April 7, 2008), about the apparel line for women and girls launching in the fall: "...there's a T-shirt that comes with detachable long sleeves that can be mixed up and matched." And "There's a super-long dress designed so the wearer can cut it to create a dress at the exact length she wants." CHANGEABLE DRESS! SWITCH OUT THE ARMS! Dang, that's cool. I've wanted a mixed-up pattern look ever since I saw the Zang Toi 2008 collection.
Even better, Macy's Herald Square supposedly has the home collection; check it out here. What will LittleMissMatched do next, a mismatched car? Oh, the possibilities.

Oh this is such a cute idea!
I love how they're encouraging kids to be creative with their clothes and have great fun doing it!
I loved Zang's collection too!
Love the colours )))
Hugs from Angel.
I must agree with danz.
So cute.
xx
Wow! That is adorable. Plus all that mismatching probably would hide stains pretty well too ;)
P.S. I sent the You Make My Day Award your way...because, well...you, uh, totally make my day.
back online, and reading comments, life is good!
wendy, so happy to hear you liked the zang, i thought the show was stellar beautiful.
lipstick, you just made my day! we must outfit all the little lipsticks in littlemissmatched, yes??! send me sizes, we'll say it's for a "contest." That's what they get for taking away my internet and forcing me to go home and blog with a bottle of red wine.
I actually love the shoelaces and socks.
i love it! looks wonderful!
A cute idea. I love it when they do the work for us.
