Hey, Ho, Papparazzo!

I wasn't in attendance at the CFDA Awards red carpet in Bryant Park last night, but my spies were. They came through with some great paparazzi-esque pics. Not perfectly in-focus, boring, PR type pictures. No, but ones like this, of what my female spy says is a beautiful man in person:

But whither looks Mr. Eva? Hmm, he seems to be checking out someone else whilst wifey is chatting. Admit it girls, we all know this look. It's the one where we kick them subtly on the calf or rib-stick them with an elbow and say "I'm sorry, is my red carpet event posturing getting in the way of your TOTALLY OBVIOUS ogling?"

Another favorite picture featuring who? No, not Donna Karan (looking good, Donna! Love your bias cuts! Viva le headlights!), but that guy in a turban behind Donna. Yes, it's my stalker crush, Andre Leon! Regular readers are familiar with my Andre Leon obsession. Vogue's editor-at-large is always the biggest guy in the room, turban or no turban. And wait, let me say it first, "What is the meaning of life, Swami AndreLeon?"

Next up, Posh and Marks. Remember when Xmastime ran into Posh in Bryant Park last winter? Here's she is in the park again, reminiscing.

Posh tired of that blond with the microphone, wondering "where the hell is Xmastime?"

Posh doing her job and paying attention, because Mr. Jacobs is holding her purse. Or is that his purse? And I don't care what anyone says, she can totally pull off that kooky fun dress. I think she looks cute. Kisses, Posh!

And I heard Maggie looked great. ALL of my spies said she was stunning in person. See?

Finally, what's an event without a twin sighting? Here, it's Lauren Hutton, wait, and another guy in a turban, and isn't that Harvey Weinstein? And, hey, isn't that an Olsen!? See her, in the back? The little blond? Somehow this photo just captures it all perfectly.

Spy notes:
Andre Leon arrived in a big black SUV with Naomi Campbell in tow. She was wearing the trendy Aladdin pants, probably trying to upstage Andre's turban;
The Twin RAN past all the paparrazi and press;
Amy Poehler was sweet to all the fans watching from the street;
Tina Fey looked very feminine;
Hillary Duff was sparkly.

You know, you're right about the last photo just capturing it all, it does! How did you get the pictures, because they are faboo!
We may have to chat about Her Poshness at some point...we may not be viewing this one through the same pair of glasses. At all. Not that we need to, mind you, not at all, not at all. She does look a bit impish I must say. Hhhhmmm. And the running twin is a hoot... it paints a great picture in the mind!
Hugs, TP

yes, problem is, I can't really talk about her poshness without getting all tongue-in-cheek! But perhaps here it's her hair, I love it combed down!

i agree with fashion herald. it's rare we see posh's hair pulled back and it really suits her features. it seems to soften them a bit.

I think it is OK when tastes differ! It's great when everybody can express his or her own point of view ))) I really like your way of showing CFDA Awards best moments! Well-done!!!

hey, c&c, I was going to say it softened her but then I thought, no that's crazy b/c slicked hair is usually more harsh, but it does, you're right!

Thanks for sharing those pics! I love the candid quality....I felt like I was there. I think Posh looks cute too-but you know, I have to admit that I looked at the dress first and thought "uh, what is that" and then I saw it was Posh and suddenly the dress looked cute. I have succumbed to her poshness. Too funny that you said "isn't that an Olsen"!

P.S. Is the bald guy in the front of the last pic Michael Stipe?

A great post! I love seeing them at backstage then on the stage! Maggie looked great! I love when she has red lips with green dress! It just brings the colour out beautifully!

I agree, Maggie as classic Gibson girl is breathtaking!

I have to agree that although I don't like Victoria's kooky dress it does suit her very well.

And, yes, that's Marc's handbag. I saw him on the red carpet a few months back and he was carrying the same one. He actually at one point whipped out his Blackberry and started texting right there on the carpet.
