Orva Shoes isn't what I would call a sexy shoe store.
These must be MINE! |
Side view. |
But Orva still inspires intense, needy shoe longings, like those I feel for the tall, Sorel duck boots above.
Ignore all but the green. |
Those green Sperry's are pretty lust-worthy, too, but I'm more of the rugged, Sorel type. I choose the Sperry's for The Preppy Princess.
I guess all this winter weather is making me a little outdoor-boot crazy. If you're feeling the same, the new Orva Shoes store on 34th Street can fulfill all your needy boot desires.

Yay Sorels! You know they get the big thumbs up from me.
My Mum bought me a pair if woodstock boots similar to the Sorels as pictured. I was 12. I swore I would never wear them! Never!! Now every winter I'm like "where are those shoes". They are the best. (And yes, I wore a size 10 shoe at 12 years old. They have lasted me over 14 years! Insane).
after much research and hours online shopping, Sorel Boots are my pick! I have the Tivoli style ones. They're comfortable, warm, waterproof and stylish.
Sal - they must be perfect for MN weather!
Etoilee8 - I love this story. Sorel should post this as a testimonial!
Amanda - I'm looking up the Tivolis! I know when Steve was in Philly he could have used a pair.
You can't go wrong with Sorels! You are too nice, stay warm and dry!
