Ugh to the Nog

Thanks to too much egg nog in December, I am now puffing away in the gym in January. I'm definitely going to have to cut back on the nog next holiday season. This year we got hooked on Chipwich Egg Nog, so it's no wonder I'm busting out of all my pants. Yumm.

And this is NOT a New Year's resolution, because then I'll fail and end up head first in a case of Chipwich Nog/belly enhancer. No, this is just a stepped-up gym routine so I can fit into something like these:

These aren't really zipped up in the back. Oh, Joyeux Noel.

Suede lace-up shorts found on the sales rack at Bebe on 34th Street (50% off $139). Although my short-short days may be long gone, a girl still wants to prance around a dressing room singing a little ZZ Top to herself while taking pictures, right? I mean, that never goes away.

You know their back-up dancers wear shorter shorts.

OMG you look great in shorts.

I'm almost ashamed to admit that I frequently listen to ZZ while lifting weights... is every girl really crazy 'bout a sharp-dressed man?
Your short-short days are by no means gone. ;-)

I once got the flirty eye from one of the fuzzy face ZZ top guys at Spago back when I was a single gal, many moons ago.

And, I had a few too many Egg Nog lattes.

OT but I have been remiss! I was lazy about washing the giraffe tights but now I have and they're packed up to go to you tomorrow!

Seriously, lady, your short short days are FAR from over. Come summer, I hope to see you prancing about in something similar.

seeker - thanks, but the cell camera is very forgiving.
gg - don't be ashamed to admit ZZ Top kicks ass - they do some mean texas blues and you should check out Mescalero. and i think most girls are impressed by the SDM, but mine tend to the grungy side.
la belette - good one! we need to get together and trade famous people ogling stories.
wendy - no worries, and you didn't have to wash! mine were only tried on once and then mauled by a big tabby cat.
sal - No way! not until the big magical body laser beam is invented.

CC - that's what the holidays are for, right?!
And dapper - that's what January is for! our gym is so packed, it's crazy.

I'm so with you on the Gym front. Come January, I barely care if I never eat ham, turkey, christmas pudding or chocolate again...well until atleast mid January anyway!

Miss Fashion, we beg to differ on the assessment of the legs. But we do understand the feeling of a sudden growth spurt, and we're not talking about that from a vertical perspective.
