Updating Unmentionables

I had a request for some Valentine's Day posts involving, you know, sexy unmentionables, and I must comply. In fact, I will dive in and cover lingerie on 34th Street.

This is also inspired by the man I'm married to, who, whenever I'm tossing unmentionables around when looking for practical tights, asks "Why don't I ever see those?" Um, because other guys bought them for me, baby! Isn't that bad karma? Besides, it's not like there's La Perla in there. It's time to toss them and start over.

So for those of you who, like me, need a little lingerie updating, I'll start with Victoria's Secret. The store at Herald Square is the flagship and it really shows. There is a great selection of everything unmentionable on the first floor with a varied price range. Naturally Flora Nikrooz has some red nighties in store for this very red holiday:

Woo la la! I like how the first one ($178) has the burlesque-ish hanging ribbons, it feels very saloon Wild West. And the one on the right ($168) is very sheer and romantic.

And there's the black stuff. I'm particularly fond of the ruffle confetti pieces. Short one is $168 and the long one is $198. Sorry about the bad pictures, if you want a big dressing room go upstairs to the second floor. I was in a tiny closet on the first floor.

$168. Flora Nikrooz has beautiful detailing on her pieces.

Next week, I'll show some Sexy Little Things. Really, Sexy Little Things is an impressive and lower-priced line for VS that's got some saucy unmentionables you'll be eager to share this Valentine's Day.
