A Black Vincent Day

It's the last day of fashion week. I'd like to celebrate by sharing a video not of a fashion show, but instead a beautiful song about a beautiful motorcycle:

Many thanks to Xmastime as I totally stole this from him. We were going to throw up a video, but, you know, technical difficulties....Richard Thompson, from above video, also was in Fairport Convention and once made beautiful music with his ex-wife, Linda Thompson.

I will be posting pictures of these shows in the next few days: Thuy (loved it), Reem Acra (loved it for totally different reasons), Tadashi Shoji (always love his impeccable clothes), and Rad Hourani (love the ridiculous hip factor: leather, latex, boys in cropped leggings with socks and boots - now I know you're totally wanting more). And we'll be posting some videos.

I'd like to thank Xmastime, who could give a rat's ass about fashion but still hung out with me for three whole days in the tents, and didn't even flinch when I spilled red wine all over his shirt. Soon after, while still in line for the same show neither of us wanted to see, he then spilled a whole glass of champagne on the same shirt. All around us fashionistas in stilettos jumped higher than I ever thought possible to avoid the collateral damage. And, of course, we didn't even get into the show. Girls, that's how the fashionbeastas roll.

And I'd like to thank our guys at 3KnightsMedia and George for putting up with many technical difficulties, all in the name of fashion. Here's to you guys. Just stay away from me if you're drinking red wine.

Xmas time was probably found sucking on his flavor-saver shirt an hour later, wasn't he?

Poor Xmastime. Poor shirt. My hubby has shirts like that: They seem to ATTRACT stains ...
