I teamed up with Xmastime for some video shooting on 34th Street a few weeks ago. Naturally it was raining, cold, and raining, until the end of the day and then the sun emerged full force. So please forgive my accessories meltdown. It was all there in the bag, wooden bangles, pretty earrings, fun sunglasses, but I forgot. All I could think about was how the shoes were getting ruined in the rain (Sanfrediano peep-toe wedges with cute bows, anyone? Size 38 1/2?) This is why poor Laura looks a little bare. Remember Laura from our Macy's graduation shopping trip? Well, check this out for more student makeovers and some great 34th Street finds:

Very cool video! Your warm props (Greg, Laura, Lindsey & Jeffrey) were great, although I thought Laura might smack Greg when he did his commentary on her before & after looks! She is a doll, and you are outstanding! You're a star! Happy weekend to you!
yes, i've got to get Laura and Greg together again...we do have an outtake of her slapping him, I may have to try and get that up...thanks, TP, and have a great weekend!
owh..love it!!the scenery..and your dress!!it is very vintage
Great video - I'm in the neighborhood if you need another guest blogger. I'm not as funny as Xmastime but i do know a thing or two about shopping 34th Street!
Love your clunky brown sandals, Trish. And what is your trick for the smooth shiny locks on a rainy Manhattan day? Do tell!!
Wow!! You are so cool and chic! I have only been to the great and grand city of NY twice, but it was wonderful and I can't wait to go back. And when I come, boy will I shop!!!
Thanks to all! hmm, the hair, I'm trying to remember what I did to it 4am that morning - I seriously think i used some shiny guy's product - leftover fashion week swag! Those chunky sandals are Gap pierre hardy, and when you guys come to new york you must let me know and we'll do a shopping story.
great show!
