Nicole Miller Fall '12

Sarah has an Almost Famous flashback at Nicole Miller's Fall '12 show.


Nicole Miller's affinity for bright colours and patterns shone through in her most recent '70s-inspired collection. The entire fall line was very pretty, and with suede floppy hats, fringe, flared sleeves, bell bottoms and big fur trimmed coats, the models evoked characters from Almost Famous.

 

The above printed silk dress was my favorite of the collection, as were other pieces that featured a similar motif.

While I love a floppy hat and some fringe, the 70's vibe didn't feel quite right for Fall '12. That doesn't mean, however, that I don't have my shopping eye on Miller's print dresses.
