Vantan Tokyo Fall 2012
How much do you love these leggings and patterns?
Next fall, forget the all black wardrobe; it is all about embracing burnt orange, browns, and grey. Add a pop of metallic silver, whether it be in the form of wedged booties or an accessory. These combinations make the cold anything but dreary.
My favorite piece on the runway of Vantan Tokyo's Fall 2012 Collection was this hybrid between a silk blouse and cape. It flows with movement and reminds me of the sea. I usually find brown a very dull shade, but in the form of iridescent leggings, its a must for next season. Long maxi skirts grazed the runway with perfect fluidity.
I'm liking this color palette for the fall, a salmon/coral hue and a sky blue incorporated with clean whites and silver. These look perfect for a summer/fall transition. The mesh sweater might be something we've seen before, but looks great with the printed pants.
This look of long sheer skirts worn over tights is one of the biggest trends we are seeing by many designers at New York Fashion Week. Its chic and wearable by the everyday woman. I may not be wearing it with just a unitard, but I will definitely be experimenting with this look.
