It's Halloween on 34th Street

Even before September and all of its fashionable activities (see Mercedes Benz Fashion Week and Fashion's Night Out, the retail Halloween), 34th Street was anticipating all your stylish Halloween needs:

Halloween Adventure, selling all things Halloween and more.

And look what space it is temporarily occupying:

The old LOFT store that's lately been the subject of 34th Street retail rumors. You can spot that LOFT sign in the back of the store, which felt about 110° inside yesterday. I hope the tenant flips the a/c switch to ON soon, as sweltering heat is really not conducive to buying plastic masks.

What can you find in this Halloween Adventure? Walls and rows of everything Halloween and more:

The usual scary costumes and ninja supplies;

The usual Princess fare;

And the usual Politically Incorrect fare;

I also spotted plus-size costumes, shoes and accessories to go with your costumes, and toys (I think Halloween Adventure is anticipating some really well-organized Christmas shoppers). And there is a very intriguing smoke machine kit by the door. I'm thinking we need one for the office.

So, as soon as Halloween Adventure turns on the a/c or when the temperature drops to under 90°, visit and shop for all your holiday needs. And if you want a particularly popular costume, go early and sweat it out. I have no idea what the kids want this year. Spiders, maybe?
