Timo Weiland Fall 2013

Nancy reports on Timo Weiland's Men's Collection.

The creative minds behind the brand Timo Weiland, Timo and Alan Eckstein, presented an urban, British-inspired ready-to-wear collection for Fall 2013. Models donned clean tailored cuts with classic oxford shirts, crisp boot cut pants, fitted blazers, and wool jackets trimmed with leather and shearling. The color palette remained dark and cool with black and whites, olive green, and grays. A touch of red and lighter blues were a welcome dose of color.

The focal point of the collection was a quilted black leather jacket and "Medallion" patterned oxford shirt. It reflects the urban dapper style you might see roaming the streets of New York City. The shoes are a part of their collaboration with Tsubo, and looked luxe in suede and casual in leather.

The quilted vest below has a great hexagon pattern that adds texture and sophistication to the ordinary, while the straight leg cut of the plaid pants just kept them from looking like pajama bottoms. I'll finish with the adorable: How charming is the navy dachshund sweater?
